Our Sweet Little Girls

I can't believe how quickly our little girls are growin up. Jadyn is going to be 2 months next week and I swear it feels like we just brought her home from the hospital. She is defintely more alert these days and has the cutest little smile! Her Grandpa Dallas was actually able to capture her first smile ever on camera while they were here visiting. We didn't even realize it until we loaded the pictures on the camera.

We also just love her chubby little legs and cheeks - last time we went to the doctor she was in the 75th percentile in weight, which cracks me up since Kaylee is only in the 15th. We've also discovered that she LOVES bath time!

Little Kaylee has been talking like crazy lately! Her speech has just exploded over the last month. She's such a smart little thing! She can easily carry on a conversation in full sentences and tends to pick up little phrases from us. (It's usually cute, except yesterday she tried to put me in "time out!") This morning she was in the bathroom with me when I was getting ready and when I got all done she said "Mommy, look how pretty you are!" Awww. I didn't even realize how often I said that to her.

She can also sing her alphabet, twinkle twinkle little star, row your boat, Mary had a little lamb, and the theme songs to Mickey Mouse and Little Einsteins. She's also gotten really good at identifying all her #s and letters and is starting to learn what sounds they make. I swear the girl will be reading in no time! Of course, you can't help but love the little mistakes they make either. My recent favorites are "bi-ki-kle" and "Baby has coo-cups (for hiccups)". Ah, if only they could just stay little!
