Today was Kaylee's first day of "real" preschool. The verdict? She did GREAT! She had such a fun day and adores her new teacher, Miss Jennie. Unfortunately she was not too excited to see me when I came to pick her up - she did NOT want to leave! As all the other kids were running up to hug their Mommies, mine was sitting on the floor with her arms crossed and a pouty lower lip. Should I be offended that she didn't want to see me or thankful that she likes school so much?
Oh, and the school director told Kaylee that she colors and writes her name like a first grader, which officially made her feel like a rockstar! Not that she was really lacking in self confidence...
A few pics from the day....

Look Mom, I'm ready!
First gift from a boy? A roly poly. It was very exciting.

Still fascinated.

Once she got into the classroom, Kaylee was ready to go! It wasn't long before Jadyn pulled up a chair beside her and I had to start trying to drag her away. But, after a kiss and long hug from her big sissy, I was able to get her out of the building. Kaylee wasn't so sure about me taking her either. As I was pulling Jadyn out of the room, Kaylee yelled, "No! My sister!"
Well, at least they like eachother. :-)

So glad she loves it! That first picture of Kaylee is so cute, with the half moon eyes because she's smiling so big. :-)
