On Saturday, we made a last minute trip to Island Park so Josh could help his parents fix a few things at the cabin. Despite some hard work on Josh's part, we were able to sneak in some fun, and enjoyed some much needed down time with his mom and dad. The girls loved having so much one on one time with Grandma and Grandpa and playing around the cabin. In all the years that I've been going up there, we've always spent the majority of our time at Yelllowstone or Bozeman or Big Springs or one of the other many beautiful places around Island Park. Which of course is lots of fun, but it was also really wonderful just staying around the cabin - homemade dinners at the dinner table, dutch oven cobbler and movies in front of the fire, taking the kids on "adventure" walks, and enjoying the fresh mountain air. Plus, it was great just having that time with Josh's parents... we don't get to see them nearly enough!
