Conversations with the littles

I wish I was better about writing down all the funny things my kids say. They seriously crack us up on daily basis. Here are two conversations that I shared on my facebook page - I figured I better post them before I forgot!

Jadyn: "Mommy when Tyler gets big like Daddy I'm going to marry him."
Me (laughing): "Well sweetie, you can't marry him because he's your brother."
Jadyn: "Hmm... well, I'll marry Daddy then."
Me (laughing harder): "But I'm married to Daddy."
J: "Well, I'll marry him today and you can marry him tomorrow..." (she pauses & thinks about it for a second)... "Actually how about you not be married to him anymore so I can have him to myself?"

Kaylee: "Mommy, did you know that I'm almost 16?"
Me: "Well, actually sweetie you've still got a while."
Kaylee: "Actually I'm 5. And that's only... (thinks for a second)... 11 more years until I'm 16. " Me: "Yes, you're right. But that's a long time. Besides, I like you being little. Why do you want to be 16 so bad anyway?"
Kaylee (putting her hands out and giving me the "duh" look...): "Becaauuuseee... then I can be on American Idol!!"

Kids are awesome.
