Happy 30th Birthday Josh!

So if you've never met my incredibly handsome husband, let me just tell you... he's amazing. Sure, I like to give him a hard time about all his "man quirks" (seriously... is it THAT difficult to put your dirty clothes into the hampers and not leave them on the bathroom floor?) and we thoroughly enjoy teasing each other... but in all reality, I pretty much hit the husband jackpot with this one. He's one of the most resourceful and handy people I've ever met (I'm pretty sure he could build or fix just about anything!), is incredibly intelligent (though we love to argue about who is smarter,) is an amazing daddy, always make sure I know that he loves me and thinks I'm beautiful, is incredibly loyal, and still makes me laugh on a daily basis. (Ssshhhh... just don't tell him!)
In a tribute to his 3oth birthday, I had planned to write down my 30 favorite things about him, but when Kaylee and I were making his card today, I asked her to tell me her 10 favorite things about him... and I decided that her list is so much better. I'm sure you'll agree!!

Kaylee's 10 Favorite Things About Her Daddy
(in her words):

10) I like when Daddy comes home from work and I get to see him!

9) Umm hugs?

8) I get to go bye bye in his truck with him. And he takes me to the store and I get to ride in the cart and see all the tools and Daddy holds my hand and I get to be his helper! (Home Depot)

7) Ohhh I like when Daddy takes us to pizza! And sometimes Chayse and Auntie Angel get to come too! (We went to lunch after we got home on Monday.)

6) I like it when Daddy plays trains with me. And he buys me Thomas and Percy and Scarlowey. And a track. And we watch them go round and round like "this" Mommy. And we watch Thomas on TV too.

5) He gives us food to eat at our house.

4) Daddy makes me chocolate milk like him and we drink it together.

3) I like to give Daddy snuggles and take naps.

2) Tickles!

1) Sometimes I get to be Daddy's helper. I get to mow the grass and take out the garbage. And we built my clubhouse together! Oh, and I helped Daddy make the waterfall, very quickly.

Happy 30th honey... I know you're not so excited to be out of your 20s but I hope you had a fun birthday anyway! Oh, and stop telling me that this means you have lived half your life already. A) That's incredibly morbid

B) You're going to have to put up with me waayyy past 60... hate to break it to you sweetie and C) Someday 30 is going to seem REALLY young!
