My Aunt Patty is the best. She has always been such a big part of my life (along with my Uncle Robert of course) and is so wonderful about always wanting to be a part of our lives. I seriously think she is one of the most selfless, caring people I've ever met! (And I know that compliment is going to make her blush like crazy when she reads this... I love it!)
She has been in town this last week (they live in La Grande, OR) and decided to kick Josh and me out of the house today for 4 hours so that she could play with with the girls and we could get some much needed "us" time! We went to lunch and then caught a matinee (Body of Lies).
The girls had so much fun playing with her and Josh and I had a great time together. It was a good day! I'm so lucky to have family close (how many people get to live 3 miles away from their parents?) which also means some very willing babysitters. We definitely need to be better about taking advantage of it more often!
