Progress!

I can't believe how far along we are on the addition! My dad has been a superstar through this whole thing and has literally been here EVERY day checking on progress and helping as much as he can. We've also had lots of help from family, friends, and people dad works with. Josh and I aren't the type to accept help very easily, but we are so, so grateful. There is no way we could have done this without them. It has been tricky with Josh having to work on Saturdays, but he has been able to get some time off and has been working late into the night to get things done. (Hopefully our neighbors don't hate us by the time we're finished!)

P.S. We had our first construction casualty yesterday. The guys were having difficulty getting the trusses up so my dad used the tractor to help push it up. This worked great until the arm came down and went through the north wall. My heart clenched up a bit when I saw the back wall starting to sway a little - I honestly thought the whole thing might come down! Luckily they were able to fix it fairly easily and were back in business.
