My parents have been talking about camping over Labor Day weekend all summer. My dad has been up working in Post Falls since March (the day after Tyler was born actually!) and they wanted some time with all the kids and grandkids. And while it sounded fun, the idea of camping with 3 kids ages 5 and under... well, also sounded like a lot of work. Plus, I had flashbacks to two years ago when Jadyn was not quite a year old and we took her camping and she got cold in our tent and screamed for about an hour until my mom got her all snuggled up warm in their RV.
Luckily, the kids all did fabulous (and Baby Ty was sweet and chill as usual)... plus Josh bought us a "Mr. Buddy" heater - which kept our tent nice and toasty while it cooled to 40 degrees outside. It was such a fun weekend with my amazing family!
(Plus Dad treated us to his famous Dutch Oven feast... which makes up for the dirt, bugs, and two days without a shower.)
