H-I-L-L-A-R-I-O-U-S

Okay, so you probably won't find this as amusing as I did, but I had a good laugh for seriously 10 minutes... so I thought I would share.
Josh has Mondays off, so I left the kids with him this morning for a little bit while I went to my MOMS Club meeting. I'm usually (okay, almost always) the one to get the girls ready, so before I left I laid out an outfit for each of them on the couch. When I came home, Josh was very proud of himself. "Look honey, the girls are all ready to go. I bathed them, got them dressed, and did their hair." I smiled and told him good job... hey, one less thing for me to do and I definitely have to give him credit for tackling Kaylee's curly hair!

Anyway, Josh left the room and I looked a little closer at the girls.
Something was a bit off.
Hmmm well I picked the outfits, so they should fit....

But wait a minute... I don't remember Kaylee's shorts having patches on them...
And I swear I didn't pull out a tank top for Jadyn....

DID YOU GUESS??
Yep, Josh put Kaylee in Jadyn's outfit (size 12 month top and 12-18 month shorts) and Jadyn in Kaylee's outfit (3t top and 2t shorts!!)
I'm not sure what's more amusing... the fact that my well-meaning husband didn't realize that he was putting our toddler in baby clothes and baby in toddler clothes or that despite Jadyn's shorts hanging down past her knees and Kaylee's looking a little more like Daisy Dukes, they can actually fit into each other's clothes!

I guess it's one of those things you had to be there for, but hey, I just got another good laugh out of it. :-)

I got a good laugh, that sounds like something a Daddy would do! Props to your hubby for getting them dressed though, and putting up Kaylee's hair! I can only hope that one day Tatem will have such long, beautiful hair like Kaylee's.

That is too funny! Jesse didn't think it was that funny for some reason ;-)

Oh Daddies! They try so hard! That is pretty funny that they kinda fit each other's clothes. I mean, as a mom you wouldn't take them out of the house, but I'm surprised you could even get Kaylee in those tiny clothes!

Hey Malissa-
It's Eden Bates Beus...I saw your link on Terrie's Blog and had to peek in on your life, I hope you don't mind. I have a blog too so come "SEE" me anytime! You look wonderful and your little babies are so sweet!
This post was so funny! I laughed to myself because I can totally relate! I have become quite used to my hubby throwing something on my children and having them look like total rag-a-muffins...good thing we live on a farm and not many people see us looking this way! YIKES!
