It was a perfect day to go boating, so we decided to hit the lake again. Amazingly, Josh and I seem to finally have the whole routine down of getting the boat in and out with just the two of us (wasn't quite sure how we were going to pull that off with two little ones!) Both our girls love the water so they were super excited too. Since it was just us, we mostly just swam around in the water and picnicked on the boat, but it was still fun! Now that we know the boat is all ready to go for the summer, we'll definitely be bringing some family/friends along with us.
Tonight we decided to go out for some ice cream and watch the fireworks at Meridian Speedway. We weren't sure what Jadyn would think of all the noise, but she seemed to enjoy them as much as her big sissy!
I also want to take a moment and express my gratitude to all the brave men and women who have fought and still fight for this amazing freedom that we so readily take for granted. And of course, to my little brother who's in Afghanistan, we love and miss you... come home soon!

Well, twist my arm. I guess we'll have to be one of the friends you take boating. :-)
Adorable pictures of the girls by the way!
Anytime sista! And I would have dragged you along on Friday but SOMEONE decided visiting family in UT was more important. Geesh. haha :-)
We were boating on th 4th too! It was fun...not too busy either. By the time fireworks rolled around we were all dead tired though. We've made a note to ourselves to wakeboard for 6 hours then try to host a BBQ and stay up late for fireworks!
I love the picture of the girls watching w/Daddy!
What a sweet picture of daddy and girls! And what is with everyone having a boat but me? Dag.
