Today the kids and I met up with some friends for some serious blueberry picking at a farm in Emmett. The girls had so much fun "blueberry hunting" and wouldn't leave until their baskets were full to the top. (Though they probably should have weighed their tummies on the way out considering how many of those little superfruits ended up in their mouths instead!)

We've never picked blueberries before but we pick blackberries and I wash them and let them air dry then put them on a cookie sheets in a single layer and freeze them. Then we have them all year long for cobblers, pies, yogurt parfaits, and the kids love them frozen.
We did get the blueberries on sale at Freddies a few weeks back and I made batches of pancakes with them and froze them for later.
I will let you guys know about his football schedule once we get it, but I know all the games are on Saturdays (hopefully Josh has a few off).
