Is there such thing as a quarter-life crisis? If so, I swear my husband is going through it. In fact, I think he's been going through it for... oh... about 3 years now. Now don't get me wrong, Josh loves his life with our little family and sweet little girls (oh, and wonderful wife of course...) but seriously, I'm starting to think he has a secret mission to own one of everything that has an engine. And they are starting to take over!

Welcome the latest addition... Josh's new bike. (I called it his new "big boy toy" on my MySpace page and got this response:
What do you mean "toy" let's not forget that the bike is to save our little family from the hardships of higher gas prices. I bought it for you.
I Love You
Ahh yes, good to know we have a comedian if the family!)
Oh, and I think Kaylee was just about as excited as Josh when he brought it home. That is, until we tried to explain to her that she can't ride with him like she does on snowmobiles/fourwheelers. He did give her a little ride on our street though. She didn't seem to mind that they were only driving in front of our house, or that he was going 2 miles an hour.

In good news for me, I was smart about this one and decided to negotiate beforehand and have put together a pretty sweet "Honey-Do" list for him to complete. Hey, Mama's gotta get something out of the deal, right? :-)

Josh's comment still cracks me up. Our husbands are always thinking about the family first, them second. Right?
I would freak if my hubby bought a motorbike! You are being very calm and brave about it, good for you!
I worry too much, but if he had it in his mind, I'm sure I wouldn't be able to change it no matter how much I thought I could~
