Dear Kaylee.

It's a good thing you're so darn cute. It helps make up for this morning's ballet class when you were far more interested in watching yourself do twirls in the mirror, playing in the drinking fountain, and throwing the bean bags in the air instead of balancing them on your shoulder like Miss Jocelyn instructed. (Thankfully she seems to find your little free-spirited nature amusing, which probably just encourages you even more!) Your cuteness also helps during shopping trips when you and Anna decide the shopping racks are meant for exploring as jump through them and then squeal at the top of your lungs as you run down the aisles. Though, I'd like to point out, it happens to make it a little difficult to catch you when in the midst of all the madness, fellow shoppers want to stop and ask me if all that curl is natural and how beautiful you are and oh how you have so much energy (yes, thank you, but I really need to chase after that ball of energy... ) And it especially makes it all worth it when you look up at me with those big brown eyes and say "I'm sorry I wasn't a good girl at the store Mommy. I'll listen better next time." Awww. That just makes everything better. You really do have me wrapped around that little finger, don't you.
I love your snuggles, your sassy little personality, your sweet little heart and how you never want to see anyone sad, the way you love to have everything in its right place (can't imagine where you get that from), how much you love your little sissy, your amazing little mind that really should probably belong to a 5 year old, the way you skip around the house singing all your favorite tunes, and of course, your creative little spirit. Oh, and I do feel a little bad about telling you that I wasn't going to take you to dance again if you didn't start listening and following directions. I had no idea the notion would be so dramatic to a 3 year old. Yes, you can go back next week. Yes, you can see Miss Jocelyn again. But seriously, we do need to work on this whole sitting still thing. I really can't wait to see you in that little "Wizard of Oz" costume at the end of year performance. I'm sure once all eyes are on you, you'll be the star of the show. Or, to me at least... you're always my little star!

Dear Jadyn.

The cuteness factor works to your advantage too. Especially when you climb on top of things then cry when you can't get back down, unroll the brand new package of tin foil and drag it around the house, dump your Yogos all over my newly mopped floors, confiscate the remote so you can repeatedly turn the tv on and off, push the eject button on the DVD player, cling to my legs as I'm making dinner, and shake your bottle up so it erupts like old faithful all over your new outfit.
I love the way your whole face lights up when you smile, your chubby little cheeks and legs, the little "m-uah" sound you make when you give kisses, the way you can't help but "flirt" with every person you see, how much you love and look up to your big sissy, how you toddle around the floor and get so excited when you get going fast, the excitement in your face when I hold your hand as lead me down the hallway, and most of all, that sweet little happy personality that can always turn my mood around. You are my little angel!
I love you, sweet girls. And even with all the trials of motherhood, I am so thankful for each moment and cherish you both, just the way you are.
Love,
Mommy

That was so sweet! Its always good to have those as a rememberance of how much we really do love our kids. They will LOVE reading that when they are older!
Oh so sweet! I agree no matter how frustrating things can be it is always worth it when you look into the eyes of our little girls.
Truer words never written. It's always good to take a step back and remember the sweetness behind the frustrating, naughty moments. They really are so pure and tender at this age.
It was so good to see you, and meet these beauties in person!
