Today was Kaylee's first day of ballet. She has been wanting to dance pretty much from the time she could walk, so she was a little more than excited for this day to come!! We got there about 10 minutes early and I had to keep dragging her off the dance floor until the teacher was ready to start class. Speaking of which... Kaylee LOVES her teacher! Miss Jocelyn is so sweet and patient... which is great considering my little Kaylee happens to be a little ball of energy! Every once in a while she would get distracted and want to gallop off to do a twirl or prance in front of the mirror, but for the most part did really well with listening and following directions. (Hmmm... you think that will rub off at home??) :-)
(By the way... that's supposed to saw "awe" not "aww"... oops)
Kaylee could not stop talking about her class all day. Oh, and I forgot to mention that her little friend Anna is in the same class... which makes it all the more exciting for her. They are going to spend LOTS of time together throughout the week so it's a good thing they get along so well! She will be doing two performances throughout the year... which I am SO excited for. I can't wait to see her in the little costumes. Aww see this is the kind of stuff that makes me feel a little better about her getting so big!

I love the picture of her looking over her shoulder! She is cute and she knows it! I can't wait until Marissa is old enough for dance classes! How fun!
