And so it begins...

Today was Day 1 of the Halloween fun - Kaylee's preschool party. I volunteered to organize it and had so much fun putting everything together. Here are the treat bags I was talking about for Project Friday:
And here is a picture of the girls showing off their costumes before school (Jadyn wanted to be a part of the party too!)
In addition to a craft that another mom did , we played Halloween Bingo using candy corn for the markers, a "Spooky Walk" (basically musical chairs but with Halloween pictures instead), and a snack. I got a little nervous in the morning when I got a call from Kaylee's teacher saying that her daughter was sick so we would be having a substitute. Then when I got to the school the Director said it seemed like I had everything pretty organized and asked if I would mind just running the show and having the sub help where needed. This was the first party of the year so I wasn't sure how things were supposed to go but everything turned out great! The kids were so well-behaved and adorable in their costumes. We also happen to have very awesome and involved parents so the kids went home with armfuls of goodies!

I was a little nervous about having Jadyn in tow, but she was SO good! I'm pretty sure she thought she was just another preschool kid enjoying her party. :-)

This is Kaylee and her little friend Kelsey. Doesn't Kaylee looks SO grown up with straight hair? I'm sure this is how she will be wearing it when she's old enough to blow dry it herself. How sad.

Oh, and remember how you've all been asking me to see pictures of the girls in their costumes? Well, we still have our MOMS Club party and Halloween... so be prepared to see them LOTS more! Let's hope the costumes last through all of it!

Good job on the goodie bags and the party! And Kaylee DOES look older with strait hair!
