It seems our little boy missed the memo that he's the baby of the family and supposed to let his mama enjoy the newborn phase as long as possible! Two days after coming home from the hospital he was already breaking free from Daddy's famous "burrito" swaddles and holding up his head. He is back up to his birth weight and with the exorbitant amount of milk he likes to consume, I have a feeling he'll keep climbing those percentile charts.
We've already been getting back into the swing of things and keeping busy with the girls' activities and visitors and projects, but I suppose that comes with the territory of being baby #4! I feel great and am happy to be out and about already (we've been making good use of the car seat cover Aunt Angel sewed to keep him away from germs and curious onlookers.) Don't worry, I've still been making plenty of time to do nothing but snuggle my sweet boy... just ask the 4 loads of laundry hiding in my room waiting to be folded! :-)
Umm yes... just try NOT to fall in love with this little face. I dare you!!
Sigh... I have a feeling this is going to go by waaayyy too fast!!
