The kids were so excited to have baby brother home. Especially Jadyn! It's funny, before he came I think she was most excited about getting her big sister gift at the hospital... but now she is ALL about Baby Dallas. She is constantly wanting to give him kisses and is Daddy's big helper - getting out diapers, laying out the swadling blankets, and even keeping all her toys and room picked up!
Reminds me so much of how Kaylee was with little Tyler when we brought him home. Maybe Jadyn and Dallas will be little buds like these two:
Of course, I'm pretty sure Ty is convinced that he's still a baby too...
Josh was able to take a week off work to spend at home with us, and I'm so, so sad that it's already time for him to go back. He is a rockstar dad! I must say that I'm a little nervous about managing all four on my own, but mostly I'll just miss having him around... who else am I going to stay up with in the wee hours in the morning watching "Vampire Diaries" during one of our little guy's marathon midnight feedings? :-) Tonight before Josh went to bed, I watched him hold little Dallas in his arms and the look on his face said it all - he wasn't ready to be away from his new little baby. So, so thankful to have a husband who's heart is at home with his little family. And it reminds me to be thankful that I get to stay home with them!
Of course I can't end this post without another picture of our little Dallas. And look - I managed to capture a rare moment when he wasn't being cuddled up in our arms. We seriously can't get enough of this kid! But can you blame us?? Just look at that sweet face!!
