This week in Joy School, I've been teaching the girls all about relationships and communicating their feelings. Tuesdays lesson called for a little craft activity on the importance of friends. I decided the project needed some more cuteness, so we made little paper doll friends. Each girl was given an outline of the two dolls and got to pick a friend to write on the second one. This activity was only supposed to take 15 minutes, but turned into closer to 30... mostly because my daughter wanted to make sure she colored the shoes and hat "just right" before we could add the hair and dresses. She is so funny about her coloring - she always stays inside the lines and makes little rainbows of color. I just love her creative little spirit and how she is so insistent on little things... she has quite the little personality for a 3 year old!
Anyway, I thought they turned out pretty cute... so I thought I'd share!
