After taking the girls to a "Trunk Or Treat" Party (and loading them up on sugar of course), we took the girls over to Grandma and Grandpa Beck's house to begin the trick or treating. (Always a good place to start since they give out full sized candy bars!)

The girls were excited to show off their costumes, which of course were met with many
oohhs and
ahhs from the adoring grandparents.

They even got to play in the leaves with them and bury grandpa... so much fun!

The visit wasn't complete until
posing for pictures, of course!
(Notice that Jadyn is trying to squirm out of my arms.)
Then it was back to our neighborhood for some serious door-to-door action! The girls had a blast!

Kaylee of course revelled in the
attention, and loved to stare down and her Daisy bucket loaded with candy-filled goodness.
Jadyn caught on quickly to the whole trick-or-treating concept and
insisted on walking up to the door all on her own. Then she'd give a sweet little
smile, attempt to say Trick Or Treat, hold her little hand out for the giver to fill with treats, then gleefully put the goods in her bucket. Even when the bucket got to heavy to hold - she did NOT want Mommy or Daddy to take over. She is a
big girl,
after all.

It was
SUCH a beautiful night... (hello... trick-or-treating in almost 60 degree weather? Can't beat that!) and
loved watching our little girls have so much fun. And the fact that they looked
oh-so-cute in their mommy-made costumes made it even sweeter!
LOVE YOU SWEET GIRLS!!

I remember hearing you say that you go all out for halloween, and now I truly believe you! But then again, is there anything that you don't go crazy/creative with??? :)
your girls are the cutest minnie and daisy I have ever seen! I wish I had some of your enthusiasm and motivation to make events a little more eventful......maybe someday I'll catch up with you somehow!!
ps, I miss you. I feel like I haven't seen you in forever!
Malissa! oh my goodness, I am sorry for not writing anything back to EVER! I must say though your daughters (and you) are BEAUTIFUL! Seriously!!!
Hey I have a question. Did you have any complications during any of your deliveries? Was Dr. Minge your doctor with Jadyn too? I had a c-sec and didnt get to experience anything vagionally so I am curious how Dr Minge is with it all. Did you ever feel pressured to "get done"? Ive been hearing horror stories about how dr's do things. Nothing negative about Dr Minge but Im just a paranoid pregnant mother.
Girls look adorable, love the baskets.
