Christmas, 2010

Our Christmas morning was perfect in every way.
I know I say this every year, but 2010 has now made topped the list as my favorite Christmas -ever! Not only did we get to share it with our beautiful new baby boy, but our kids are just at this amazing age when everything about this day is wonderful and magical. They were so excited about each and everything they opened and their little faces just danced with smiles all morning.

I was video taping when the kids came in to see their Santa gift, so didn't capture their expressions on camera, but it was priceless. Wide eyes, open mouths and their little voices shouting "This is what we always wanted!!" They were so happy with the train table that we weren't sure we'd be able to tear them away to open the rest of their presents. I started shopping right after last Christmas and was able to pick up a ton of great deals on the way, so they all had lots to open. A few highlights for the girls: Tag reading system and books for Kaylee (my mom got one for Jadyn too), leapster games, a box full of new dress-up clothes, Barbies, walkie talkies, baby dolls, Zhu Zhu pets, My Little Ponies, books... they made out! Tyler was a bit harder to buy for since he is so little, but got a busy ball popper, plush monkey, club penguin, a cool vintage looking wood car, a cute little car backpack, and Anamalz.

Tyler seemed much more interested in eating the wrapping paper and playing with the boxes than opening his presents. But he did have fun checking out all the new goodies (especially his big sisters' stuff!) and watching the girls play.

Love this sweet picture of them checking out a Look and Find book together! Can't tell you how proud I am to be their mama.

That afternoon, we went over to my parents house to open presents with the rest of the family and enjoy a prime rib dinner together (Aunt Patty, Uncle Robert, and Uncle Steve joined us too!) The kids were just as spoiled there as usual! We ended the night with karaoke... and had to drag Josh away since he and my dad were having a little too much fun.
For some reason, I barely picked my camera up while we were over there - maybe because Kaylee got her own digital camera from Grandma and Grandpa and she was taking enough pictures for all of us! Maybe once I get her pictures loaded I'll have a few I can add. :-)

Already looking forward to next year when we get to do it all over again!
